Gordon Bennett 2015The team of Anulfo González and Angel Aguirre finished in 4th position in the 59th edition of the Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett, the oldest and most prestigious aeronautical competition in the world.
With this result, the Kamarotí team equals the best position obtained in this competition in the 2013 editions (Nancy – France), beating with a distance of 2.056,33 kms their previous record claimed during the 2014 America’s Challenge where they achieved an amazing distance in flight of 1.912,25 kms. This mark also establishes a new national record in the AA Class (Gas Balloons) and consolidates them as one of the reference teams in the Coupe Gordon Bennett
